What is Somatic Therapy?

Somatic therapy recognizes that trauma and stress are not only stored in the mind — they live in the body.

Rather than focusing solely on thoughts, we gently explore physical sensations, nervous system responses and emotional patterns.

In sessions, we may work with:

  • Breath awareness

  • Body sensations

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Emotional processing

  • Resourcing and grounding practices

  • Noticing what is showing up in the present moment

I created this practice for individuals and couples who want more than surface-level coping tools. My work is rooted in compassion, regulation, and respect for your nervous system’s wisdom.

A body-centered path to healing

Rather than analyzing your experiences from a distance, we gently explore what your body is holding — with curiosity, compassion, and trust.

  • Learning to notice sensations, patterns and nervous system responses.

    Building communication with your body

  • Building internal resources and expanding your window of tolerance.

Learning regulation that works with your body

  • Processing at your pace and creating sustainable change.

Build a sense of self-integration and connection with yourself
